“Four avant-garde drum ‘n’ bass tracks from Estonia’s finest production team. “Lucid Dreaming” is a minimal club banger with HUGE bass that is reminiscent of the better output of Lynx. “Centuries” is a nice little “Apache Break” workout with a rugged bassline and jazz flourishes. “Ready When U Are” has high-pitched Amens skittering over a big wobbling bassline. And finally, my favorite track on the EP, “High Sines Low Claps,” is a very progressive take on that new genre of halfspeed d’n’b step. Big and lush with ethereal pads and hip-hop vocal snatches, this track reminds me of material from Autechre’s first LP on Warp. It’s simply amazing to say the least.”
